Differences

I was just thinking about Passover and Easter being so close together and so different. One celebrates freedom and the exodus from slavery, and the other celebrates eternal life with the resurrection of Jesus.

Why are there so many differences with our own species, Homo Sapiens? Why did God make so many different people, so many different languages, so many different religions? Why not all the same?

In the animal kingdom, it seems all dogs’ barks are the same. Do they communicate in one language? Do African Elephants communicate in the same language as Asian Elephants?

If everything were meant to be the same, it would be very boring and monotonous. So, it appears that we are meant to celebrate differences.

When you travel, you meet differences wherever you go in language, religion, food, architecture, etc., yet certain cultures want everyone to adhere to their culture.

If that is what God intended, then we would all be the same.
