Equality

Meaning to equate things equally or, in this case, to balance opposing sides so that each has the same opportunity.

Just like in politics, money is the great difference in sports. Think baseball, and the teams that spend the most have the best chance of winning. The same goes for football and basketball.

Each sports governing body tries to strike a balance of talent and money so that no team dominates and that there is parity among them. That’s why there are limits as to how much a team can spend with tax penalties on exceeding the limit…Yet if a team has enough money to pay the additional tax, they will continue to spend.

It’s all about the money. Just like sports is trying to make every team equal, so too is the Democratic Party trying to create parity with their constituents…everybody then shares equally, like in a Socialist society.

It’s been like this since the beginning of time: the haves and the have-nots.

Is there equity in the animal kingdom? Only the strong survive to pass their genes onto the next generation…the Alpha leads.

And the meek shall inherit the earth sounds good, but who shall lead them, and where will the incentive to invent and to create come from?

I think the best we could do would be to allow everyone to succeed, and the rest is up to them.
