Californians will vote on Proposition 40 in November. This is a proposed one-time tax on Billionaires to raise to $100 billion. We are often asked for more taxes, but have little confidence that the purpose of the tax will be fulfilled.

The California high-speed rail project-estimated to cost some $126 billion, and some say up to $231 billion with no end in sight. Fraud and waste have taken our tax dollars for another boondoggle. How can we trust the billionaires’ “one-time” tax will actually go to what they say?

Can we believe anything politicians say? They want to keep and continue their control and their job. How often do we hear candidates and politicians say stupid and hateful things and then recant that they don’t believe those things anymore…like defund the police or it was our fault for 9/11, or don’t support Israel and are pro-Palestine and Hamas, etc.?
