Machine World
The history of human development and evolution is one of growth, adaptation, creation, and knowledge …from the most primitive use of tools to today’s most advanced technologies with AI, from communal living to individual space.
There is much discussion regarding machines (robots) taking over society. There have been many films depicting a machine world like The Terminator, The Matrix , Westworld, Robocop Cop and many more.
Auto assembly in car plants (Ford) is replacing human welders and metal workers. ATM’s replacing bank tellers. The electric light and electricity are replacing oil lamps and so on.
As we grow with more and greater knowledge and the accelerated speed in which we receive information and create new ways and means of development, what gets diminished? The human touch, personal service, and relationships. New industries that could be developed and expanded around the voids and by enhancing the usage and understanding of changes.
Some of us remember when a Service Station meant service. Attendants washed your windows, checked your oil, and pumped your gas. Now, like many businesses, it’s self-serve and no serve (service).
It’s becoming a machine world…you don’t even need to drive a car, just robotics.
