With the rapid growth of AI, how do we know what is real and what is artificial? There are so many scammers out there impersonating voices or pictures, etc., out to steal from you and don’t care about your stress.

How can the public be protected from criminals using AI to extract money from your pocketbook? There should be a code or symbol attached to the AI that tells you this is artificial… much like advertising supplements in the newspapers to tell the reader that the editorials are written by the client and not the newspaper.

Have you ever gotten a call promoting a candidate from a famous “celebrity” who was an impersonator? Does the call say, the following is an impersonation?

With all the technology existing today, I’m sure that there are ways to tell or warn us of what is real and what is AI.

This should be an important non-partisan issue for the federal government.
