What should the government’s priorities be?

I think the motto of the Police comes to mind: PROTECT and SERVE.

Protect its citizens and serve their needs

Protection from abroad and from within. That correlates to Iran never having a nuclear weapon, as they continue their chants of Death to America and Death to Israel. Who doesn’t believe they would use it if they had it? From within, we need the protection of the police and other resources like the FBI and other security organizations, such as the Fire Department and Homeland Security, plus the protection of Closed Borders.

With Common Sense thinking, who can oppose protecting American citizens? Is the Democratic Party really against this? Do they want to disband the security our police and ICE provide? How can the flood of illegal immigration through open borders be a good thing when they can’t be vetted and overflow our system? Picture a glass of wine being poured into your glass until it overflows and continues to be poured into a vessel that can’t contain it…too much of a good thing.

This isn’t to say that many people want to come to America for the opportunities and freedoms and that they want to escape the hardships of their homeland, but it must be legal. Too many have come to do harm and involve themselves in illegal activities. There is a finite number we can assimilate, just as there are only so many seats in an arena or theater. It’s like spraying crops to kill the infestation, only to possibly harm those who also eat those crops.
