Apalling

Were you appalled at the reaction by those on the left after the assassination of Charlie Kirk? Like so many of us who loved Charlie and believed he was doing good for America, he was still hated in death as he was in life. He spent his life teaching his views of marriage, Free Speech, American values, and Faith through open dialogue with those who disagreed with him. He changed many who were stuck in their beliefs…but not all.

How many heroes have been cut down by those in disagreement? Lincoln, JFK, MLK, RFK, Medger Evans, Malcom X, Melissa Hartman, (attempts on Trump and Reagan), and others.

Violence begets violence. Charlie tried to stem this tide, and it looks like the tide is turning as the world is reacting to his loss.

He opposed abortion and was pro-life. By killing him, will that change those for women’s right to choose? He was for EARN, that is, earning your way by merit and not DEI. Should he be killed if you disagreed?

He believed in the institution of marriage and that two people should be together for life and procreate. He believed in his faith and Judeo-Christian values and how important that is to a healthy and fruitful life.

The masses will never agree on everything, and not everyone will agree with your principles…accept the differences and move on because the killing will not stop the ideas and ideals.

With all this said, how appalling was it when some rejoiced in the deaths of 9/11? There are always those who don’t agree, but the worst is in rejoicing in their death.
