Too much of a good thing

It’s a proverb about moderation and a beginning point for discussions on excess, balance, and finding the right amount in life.

I write this because I have backed President Trump’s policies. But I don’t back his excess of self-aggrandizement and wanting to brand everything “Trump” as he did with his buildings and golf clubs.

• This is unprecedented in US history.

• Only after you have left office, when others propose adding your name to monuments, etc., is it appropriate.

• It’s like seeing the same commercials over and over again until they turn you off.

It’s too much of a good thing!
