Too much of a good thing
What is the best balance of giving information or commentary?
How often do we have to listen to commentators for sports events, like football, basketball, or baseball, that never seem to stop talking? The master of knowing when to stop was Vin Scully, the legendary broadcaster for the Dodgers. It is a real turn-off to hear the non-stop talking of today’s color commentators. We can see what is happening with our eyes; we don’t need to be told over and over again what just happened.
This holds so true with President Trump. He is so transparent and loves to hear himself that he never stops talking after the sale is made…and then the sale is lost.
There is a delicate balance between giving information and trying to sell a point of view. Watching or hearing the same commercials over and over again becomes a turnoff…just like too much of a good thing.
Think of all the great policies that Trump has followed through on; Closed Borders, Energy Independence, lower inflation, reduced government, Fostering Peace and stopping wars, reducing drug prices, deporting criminal aliens, reducing crime, etc, only to possibly talk his way out of winning the midterms.
Such a shame…too much of a good thing.
