Trees

I just had a realization…looking out of the window, I noticed a tree growing with thick branches splayed out. Another tree was growing straight up with branches in an uneven manner. The Sequoias were growing the tallest of all.

Can any of these trees grow differently if planted in different soil? They are products of the inherent makeup of the material in their seeds and have a predictable growth pattern.

I am thinking how the human seeds (GENES) must grow similarly. The only alternative would be in our individual personalities as to how we would grow and what we would become. Can we change? Can the trees change?

I think that from a physical nature, we cannot change, but from our experiences, education, peers, upbringing, and our environment, our lives are shaped…but are open to change.
