Relationships
Scott Galloway, author, professor:“ Relationships are the key to a rewarding life.”
When the COVID pandemic hit us in 2020, and we were sequestered for 4-5 weeks, it was then that I realized what was most important in life…and it was the relationships that I missed most. Being alone or isolated creates a depressing mood. Keep in touch with those you like and love. You can make their day and make your’s too.
The old axiom that “No man is an Island” rings so true. We need each other…we are social animals. Being married for 69 years has worked well because we feed off each other. With each of the over 600 short essays (emails) I have written, I first read them to my wife and received her blessing on each one. Our relationship has enabled us to have a rewarding life.
AI will continue to grow, teach us, and help create a myriad of new ideas, but it is no substitute for playing mahjong with friends or gin rummy or board games or sharing a meal or golf, or tennis. In other words, AI is like watching a movie…neither is real, only digital images, and hard to hold.
